Posted September 26, 2008

The National Environmental Literacy Assessment is a national baseline study of middle school student understanding of the environment. Completed over the last 18 months, this study creates an understanding of how much middle school students in the United States currently understand about the environment. It was conducted by North American Association (NAAEE) for Environmental Education with support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Environmental Education and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Education.
