Directions to the Hampton Inn
From Baltimore: Take I-95 South to I-495 West to Exit 30 (Colesville Road). The hotel is 1 (one)
mile south on the right, just past Spring Street intersection.
From I-495 East: Travel to Exit 30B (Colesville Road). The hotel is 1 (one) mile south on the
right just past Spring Street intersection.
From Washington DC: Take 16th Street NW heading north for 6 miles. Make a right onto Colesville Road
(Route 29). The hotel is located 5 blocks north on left just past Fenton Street.
For those arriving at the hotel the day before: maps and directions will be available at the front desk to get to the conference site on Tuesday. The NOAA Science Center is about half a mile from the hotel, so please plan ahead to allow for time to walk or take one of the available shuttles. There is a free public shuttle (please see Van Go route map below), as well as a shuttle service offered by the hotel, (information will be available at the hotel).

Parking
For those driving to the conference there are two public garages convenient to the conference site. Be aware that you will need to have quarters for the meters. Also please note that there are full day and 3 hour spots.

Public Transportation
The B-WET conference site at NOAA is accessible from the Metro Red Line Silver Spring station. Please be aware that the Metro Red Line has been experiencing delays after a recent accident. You will want to allow some extra time to travel to and from downtown DC and the conference site. The trip may take between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
